A Fort Worth Police Officer called us about his experience. He stated that he kicked a door

"I received the Door Devil in the mail yesterday. I compared it to the door jamb device we have been using at our neighborhood watch and business watch meetings to show how one can improve the security of their doors. In this comparison I found your Door Devil to have a thicker more sturdy design with a better depth to the recessing of the screws in the device (he is speaking of the fact we bevel the screw holes so the screws set flush)...[otheriwse] the screws have a tendency to stick out after installation.

I would not [need to] endorse either product but present both as available options. It will be clear which model is thicker metal design, more adaptive for various lock combinations (he is speaking of our 4 eye design to accomodate a 2nd deadbolt) and comes with the longer screws and correct drill bit for installation.

"It appears the suspect stood with his back to the door and kicked backwards with a great deal of force but was unable to defeat the Door Devil. I specifically took a picture of the door to show ...how the Door Devil kept the door and the frame in place.
